  • Segmented Turning

Saturday August 10, 2012 a group of nearly 50 met at George & Barb Dekle's home in South Lyons to celebrate what God has been doing in their lives since they left Elim Baptist Church and to reminisce about the influence of growing up in the youth group there. A tremendous lunch was provided by George and Barb with a good time of testimonies during the afternoon. There was a lot of catching up for many over what has transpired in their lives in the past 40-50 years. It was special to have several that helped as leaders of the youth group activities attend.
Sunday August 11 a group went to Elim to visit the church building and participate in a worship service together. We sang a few songs, scripture was read, a duet from John and Di Dekle (Children of the Heavenly Father) then John spoke on the Majesty of God.

You are encouraged  to send some thoughts from the week-end to be posted on this page. Pictures may also be sent to John Dekle at [email protected] to be posted. Look under the Pictures of the Reunion for those already sent and thanks to each one for sending pictures.
