About John & Di Dekle

Met DiAnna in GIA and married June 1967. Di was saved at the age of five.
Prior to GIA she attended Bethel College. She grew up in Minnesota. In 1966 Di
taught school for missionary children in Mexico.
Two sons, Timothy (5/17/70) and Robert (2/15/73).
Served three years in the US Army in New Jersey and Hawaii.
Graduated from Vancouver Bible College with a Bachelor of Religious Education
(1973).

Graduated with a Doctor of Religious Studies in Christian Education from
Trinity Theological Seminary (2009)
Ordained into the gospel ministry April 1973.
Served four years as the pastor of Bay Community Baptist Church, Blaine,
WA.
Traveled conducting Children's evangelistic campaigns in many states and
Canada.
Served as an interim pastor for Aloha Baptist Church in Kailua, Hawaii in
1973.
Clark County Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) Director in WA
1973 - 1977.
Graduated from CEF Leadership Training Institute in 1975.
State Director for CEF in Hawaii 1977 - 2011.
Instructor at International College and Graduate School, Honolulu
1981-2006.
Primary spiritual gift is teaching:
An emphasis within the local church has particularly been in children's
church and adult Sunday school classes plus preaching and teaching in various
churches in the community. Equipping teachers to spiritually nurture children
from a Biblical perspective has been a life long passion and the thesis of his
doctoral dissertation.
Hobbies include: wood turning, fishing and collecting carnival glass.
